Free Guided Hikes with Alpine Guides

Obereggen

 Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday the Tourist Association Val d'Ega organizes free guided excursions with the alpine guides.
The exceursion is free of charge, reservation is necessary, not later then the day before, 5 p.m.

LATEMAR HIGH ROAD

Meeting point: Obereggen Tourist Office
Departure: 9.30 a.m.
Duration: 4/5 hours (hiking time)
Difficulty: EASY/MEDIUM

Obereggen chair lift (ticket not included). Path 22 and 516 to Satteljoch, then geological path 13-514 and 505 to Malga Zischg and Ganischger. Return along path 9 to Malga Epircher Laner and to Obereggen. 

MOUNT AGNELLO

Meeting point: Obereggen Tourist Office
Departure: 9.30 a.m.
Duration: 5 hours (hiking time)

A very beautiful and hike with lots of panoramic views on an itinerary with great scenery and views of the Lagorai Group.
Obereggen Tourist Office, by car as far as the Malga Mayrl car park, approx. 3 km.  Departure on foot along route 9 for Malga Zischg, then along routes 505 and 514 to Malga Caserina.  Route 514 as far as Bivacco La Porta then route 515 to Mount Agnello.  Descent along routes 51, 515 and 22 to Malga Ganischger and route 9 back to the car.

Pampeago - Predazzo

TOUR OF MONTE CORNON

Every Monday from the 24th June to the 9th September 2013

Meeting point: Pampeago, chair lift Latemar departure, 8.45 a.m.
Departure: 9.00 a.m.
Duration: 5/6 hours
Difficulty: MEDIUM

Starting from Passo Feudo the itinerary reaches Doss Capèl and then Passo Tresca. From the arrival point of the Agnello chair lift, the itinerary continues on to “La Bassa” to reach Doss dei Branchi and the Monte Cornon cross. A spectacular vista of the entire Val di Fiemme can be seen from the cross. Return to Pampeago.

TORRE DI PISA REFUGE

Every Thursday from the 27th June to the 12th September 2013

Meeting point: Pampeago, chair lift Latemar departure, 8.45 a.m. Predazzo, Passo Feudo Refuge, 9.30 a.m.
Duration: 6/7 hours
Difficulty: MEDIUM

Starting from Passo Feudo along path 516 “Coston del Latemar” to the Torre di Pisa Refuge (2.670 m). The Latemar amphitheatre then Forcella dei Camosci, arriving at the Absam chair lift. Return to Pampeago along the path 23 Passo Pampeago and to Predazzo on the path 507 Passo Feudo. The group from Predazzo will follow the route in the opposite direction.

For the excursion to Monte Cornon, the guide will only be available from Pampeago, Latemar chair lift departure. ONLY for the excursion to Torre di Pisa, a second guide will wait for the clients at Passo Feudo refuge, for people coming from Predazzo.
