In the Ski Center Latemar (located in the Dolomites, South Tyrol), it's easy to touch the heavens: All you need is a snowboard or a pair of skis. And this year, you can go farther and higher. That's because the park has been expanded to include more medium-hard and easy routes, consisting of successive tables, the 16-meter-high "Mega Kicker," and a woodline. The exciting 80-meter-long halfpipe will finde place at the snowpark. Technical specifications:
Halfpipe: Length 80 m, shaped 3/4 times a week with Zaugg Pipe Designer. MaintenanceMaintenance is carried out every day. A snowcat is used for the park every other day. The park features a powerful snow-making system, which is maintained by staff and the skilift company, as well as by the F-TECH crew (they are in charge of planning, execution and some maintenance, in conjunction with a number of locals). Rules for admission to snowparkRails, ramps and artificial variations to surface (hereinafter “facilities”) are installed at the snowpark. Snowboarding and skiing may cause injuries. Aerial manoeuvres at the park facilities increase this risk. ROUTINES EXECUTED UPSIDE DOWN CAUSE THE RISK OF INJURY TO INCREASE SIGNIFICANTLY. YOU ARE ADVISED NOT TO EXECUTE THESE ROUTINES. Facilities vary in difficulty and change constantly as a result of changes in the snow, weather, shape and time of day. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INSPECT THE FACILITIES BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO USE THEM, even several times a day if necessary. YOU MUST BE AWARE OF THE DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY AND THE RISK YOU WILL BE FACING WHEN USING THE FACILITIES. Refrain from using the facilities if you lack the necessary skill and/or experience to use them safely; Facilities may be used by one person at a time. Look carefully before jumping, MAKE ALL THE NECESSARY CHECKS! Make sure you snowboard/ski safely. Every park user shall behave in such a way as not to endanger or harm other users. Users shall not stop abruptly, especially after completing a jump. In case of an accidental fall, move away as quickly as possible; If you collide with another rider, or if you see an accident, you must provide help and alert the rescue service. You are also required to leave your details in case you are called to bear witness by the authorities. You are strongly advised to wear a helmet and the necessary protection equipment!!! WHEN YOU ENTER THE SNOW PARK, BE AWARE THAT YOU ARE BEARING ALL RESPONSIBILITY. OBEREGGEN SPA DECLINES ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN THE EVENT OF YOUR BEING INJURED OR IF YOU ARE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. USE THE SNOWPARK AT YOUR OWN RISK. |
