HOW TO ORGANISE A SKIING HOLIDAY WITH CHILDREN IN THE SKI CENTER LATEMAR FOR THE FIRST TIME

Organising a skiing holiday with children may seem complicated (accommodation, ski school, rental, ski pass, clothing), but in this section of the website we want to help you by giving you all the practical information for those who do not know our area and are starting from scratch.
First of all you need to know that the Ski Center Latemar is the largest ski area in Val di Fiemme-Obereggen, one of the most beautiful ski resorts in Trentino Alto Adige, the slopes are located right between the two provinces, Trentino and Alto Adige.

There are three access points: Predazzo, Pampeago and Obereggen. Each starting point has its own, very different characteristics, so it is important to know each location in order to be able to choose according to your needs.
Obereggen
At 1530 m, in South Tyrol. You are immediately on the ski slopes. On site you will find: accommodation, ski pass office, equipment hire, sports shop and ski school. The nearest village is Nova Ponente in Val d’Ega, about 13 minutes by car (10 km).
Pampeago
At 1757 m, in Trentino. You are immediately on the ski slopes. On site you will find: accommodation, ski pass office, equipment hire, sports shop and ski school. The nearest village is Tesero, in Val di Fiemme, about 10 minutes’ drive away (7.7 km).
Predazzo
At 1018 m, in Trentino. To access the ski slopes, first take the Predazzo-Gardonè cable car (about 10 min). At the base of the cable car you will find: ski pass office, equipment hire, sports shop, bar and toilet with changing table. Upstream you will find the ski school. The nearest town is Predazzo, in Val di Fiemme, about 5 minutes away by car (2.3 km).
