3 SLEDGE SLOPE IN THE LATEMAR DOLOMITES

In the Latemar Dolomites, in Trentino South Tyrol, there are the best sledge slopes on the snow for children.

You don’t need to be an expert or have special equipment. All you need: gloves, scarf, hiking shoes, helmet (for everybody) and wrap up well. Sledges and bobs can be rented on the slopes: children and adults can sledge together. At Obereggen the sledge run is also open in the evening: Tuesdays and Fridays from 7p.m to 10 p.m.

Insurance is required to access the toboggan runs.

On top of Latemar chair lift, near the Kindergarten “Bip Club”, nice news suitable for everyone, skiers and non-skiers, young and old: a very simple and fun sledge slope served by Campo Scuola chairlift. For even more complete fun!

GARDONÈ SLEDGE SLOPE, PREDAZZO

If you are looking for a place to sledge in Trentino South Tyrol, at Gardonè there is a 500 m run near the woods. Buy your ticket, and take the chairlift at the Campo Scuola Gardonè and go down full speed on your sledge. Distribute your weight properly, position your feet and go round the bends with the right momentum: once, twice, three times in a row and your trajectory will be perfect.

What is there to do with children on the snow? Get a sledge and come and enjoy yourself. You can bring your own sledge or bob or else rent them on the slopes. Put your helmet on properly (if you are less than 18 years old), your gloves and scarf and away you go!

⇒ Helmet is compulsory for children up to 18 years. You can rent the helmet at the Sport Latemar 2200 rental, at the valley station of the Predazzo-Gardonè cable car.

ABSAM SLEDGE SLOPE – OBEREGGEN

Come and try the sledge run at Obereggen: 750 metres from the rifugio Epircher-Laner to the bottom of the Absam-Maierl chair lift.
Length: 750 m | Vertical height gain: 108 m | Difficulty: easy
You can use the new telemix Laner lift.

OBEREGGEN SLEDGE SLOPE – OBEREGGEN

If you would like to sledge by night on the snow in the Ski area Latemar Dolomites, two days a week the Obereggen run is illuminated from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.: every Tuesday,and Friday.
Length: 2,5 km | Vertical height gain: 280 m | Difficulty: medium/easy
Possibility of using the Ochsenweide cable car.
