GEOTREKKING Torre di Pisa, in the heart of the fossilized atoll of Latemar

Discovering the Latemar atoll: a magnificent fossilised archipelago in the Dolomites, a World Heritage Site! Every Wednesday, you can participate in an exciting geological excursion in collaboration with the Geological Museum of the Dolomites in Predazzo and the Muse of Trento.

Every Wednesday from the 3rd July to the 28th August 

In collaboration with Latemar MontagnAnimata and Latemarium

You start at the Feudo Pass and continue along the Coston del Latemar to the Torre di Pisa refuge to discover the submerged flank of an ancient island that emerged 240 million years ago from the Triassic sea. But you won’t be alone – you will be guided by an expert geologist and mountain guide to explore the heart of the atoll through the depths of a tropical sea back to your starting point.

Equipment required: hiking boots, waterproof/windproof jacket.
Minimum age: 12 years

The activity is free of charge, if you don’t have the Fiemme-Cembra Guest Card you will have to pay for the lifts. For Fiemme-Cembra Guest Card holders the activity is fully included in the card services.
