THE HIDDEN DRUM - 4th July
Who is the Gnome-Poet Ramingo who has a thousand nursery rhymes tucked in his hat? He is here to help us discover something curious: the poems have a drum heart, one that beats. They resemble rap, counting, verses, stadium slogans, prayers and spells. They are very serious word games: and they have a heart that beats with two wings as it flies through life.
SPEAK, RODRIGO! - 11th July
Rodrigo lives in a village in the Wild West and has a character trait that makes him very unusual: he's terribly boring. So boring that his schoolmates make use of him to put the teacher to sleep. Mum and Dad avoid asking him how it all went at school. Is this a good thing? The only one who seems to listen to him seriously is his grandmother, who is as deaf as a post.
NICK AND THE CHICKEN, A ROCK STAR FOR THE LITTLE ONES - 18 July
After years of incredible success, Nick has chosen to abandon the mega-stadiums and gigantic crowds to perform in out-of-town theatres. He has chosen libraries, cultural clubs, and schools of all kinds and levels so he can finally look his fans in the eye! Giving up his fame, Nick has lost everything: his band, his success and his place on the front page of the newspapers. But he has also found something that no one can ever take away from him. So what’s with the Chicken? Well, to find out you simply have to see the show.
THE DRAGONS OF LATEMAR ... AND MORE BESIDES - 1st August
What would you think of a group of children who capture a dragon and take it to school to show their teacher? Or of a dragon terrified by a little girl whose only dream is to become a dragon hunter? Pino Costalunga tells stories and legends of dragons! And... have you ever heard about their close relatives, the ones with scales? You will hear stories of fantastic and wonderful creatures for adults and children alike. Get ready!
OTTO THE DACHSHUND - 8th August
In less than ten minutes he will disappear in a giant balloon and begin to dance. What can a street artist with a passion for balloons actually do? With his amazing routine, Otto the Dachshund has travelled everywhere: squares, streets, theatres. He travels light as his luggage contains only rubber!
NURSERY RHYMES... AND MORE BESIDES - 15th August
Do you feel like hearing words that are sounds and sounds that become words? Or creating nursery rhymes together? Pino Costalunga plays with the rhymes, rhythms and sounds of poetry. Taking the children by the hand, he invents little stories in verse with them: it is easier to give space to the imagination and creativity in the midst of the beautiful Latemar forest.
CIRCO OPPETELÀ - 22nd August
Rolls, acrobatics, flying balls and bikes with just one wheel: this is the magic of the circus that accompanies us on a voyage of self-discovery and joyfully reawakens the body. Among giant spheres, pedalos, stilts, rola-bola and unicycles we go in search of balance, stretching every muscle towards the sky. If you think you need a red nose to laugh at your mistakes, you’ve never tried throwing a pair of bolas in the air!
BRUNO THE SCRUFFY IN HOSPITAL - 29th August
Big trouble for Bruno! While making a puppet out of mud, he fell and hurt himself and had to hurry off to hospital. Fortunately they are all very nice there and there are even clown doctors who get the children to play. The most incredible thing is that there is a department for invisible friends, so his trusty pig Giovanni can be near him and keep the monsters of the dark at bay.
